THE HOOD vs THE MIDWEST
If you're in the Midwest, prepare yourself for a DOUBLE DOSE of Hood this weekend. DJ STV SLV will be at Chicago's Subterranean tonight (in the lounge, not the upstairs) alongside resident DJ Zebo, and on Sunday the fine people of Daytrotter are putting on a show with Maritime at the Capitol Theatre in Davenport. If you want to check that one out but can't make it to the Quad Cities, Daytrotter will be streaming the show live from their site. Starts at 7pm, central standard time.

Wow, just great. Love this one. It needs about 30 to 40% more slow-mo, but other than that just great.
