NE-YO vs THE NOTWIST

ABX - Closer To Pilot [5.5MB; via drop.io]

R.I.P. ZSHARE: The download links through zshare have been giving people problems for a while and a lot of them aren't working right now. So we're moving to drop.io for all your Hood Internet dl'ing needs. We'll get all the older tracks up on that soon enough, just give us a minute.

This is the weakest hood internet joint yet. My mom would jock this site if she knew what you guys have been putting out as of late. And I heard your show in Madison was a huge letdown. Keep up the regression.

i woke up off that hate fluid. the tobacco and aesop joint was nutty and so was the mixtape vol 3. don't worry about it. i'm sure your next joint will be danceable. (this and the last.. nah)

I don't know guys. YOu guys are definitely slipping. I usually love you guys but I have to agree on the recent regression. Mixtape 3 had some gems, but also had some real duds on it as well. It seemed like you guys were making huge progress six months ago or so.

I think the problem is that you are using too much mediocre indie dance music. A lot of the beats are just stale and wear thin very quickly. Its either that or you just try and mash up two completely incompatable songs.

Hey, way to go on the use of drop.io--it's way better than that other site you were using. Dig the new UI too--just came out yesterday.

I think the 3rd mixtape was the best yet.

only because of the stilettos and pumps song, i mikey (i rock), and mouths to feed luda mashups. from about minute 23, mixtape vol 3 is pure gold. i agree it's good. but there's no looking past how awesome the pack with crystal castles mash was on vol 1. that was the sickest mixtape. the new mad decent "fear and loathing in hunts vegas" is inescapably dope. peep it. it's not free, but it's pay-what-you-want. it's hard as a bitch too.

to the haters: you don't know a good thing when you hear it. you probably also don't like to dance.

this is one of best mashups i've heard in a while on the Hood.

keep up the good work boys.

Strong work as usual!
For me, even the efforts that fail to inspire (me) are at the very least interesting missteps, and that's about as high a praise as I can give. It's not always about an artist's highest highs (see one-hit-wonders), but their lowest lows. You guys are consistent, solid.

And to my fellow hoodfans: critique without constructive criticism is masturbation, especially when dealing with free content. Don't shit where you eat!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvjiI8JRlUs

by the way, could you upload all your tracks that aren't on the volumes on megaupload so it's easier?

mixtape 3 is the best one for sure. The others have some tracks which are superior but 3 is better overall.
