THE HOOD vs SXSW 2009

We're heading back down to Austin for this year's SXSW festivities. Got a handful of shows, and here they are in one convenient JPEG:

THURSDAY 3/19 we'll be at the Lose Control Party which has a completely ridiculous lineup over its three-day span. Not sure when we're on yet but the party goes from 2pm until 2am, and here's the rest of the Thursday bill: The Twelves, Don Rimini, Juiceboxx, Jokers Of The Scene, Mickey Factz, We Have Band, Designer Drugs, Codebreaker, Kap10kurt, Kap Bambino, Jeremy Dawson (of Shiny Toy Guns), Nomathmatics, Richard Gear, Culture Prophet, Ocelot, Saskeii, Bradley D. FRIDAY 3/20 our friends THE FMLY have the second night of their "Two Nights In Austin" blowout. The Hood will be hanging out for a while DJing in-between sets by: Japanther, Reverse X-Rays, DD/MM/YYYY, The Death Set, Honey Claws, and Ninjasonik. FREE with RSVP. Hi-Lo, 301 W 6th St.

SATURDAY 3/21 in the daytime we'll be at Red Eyed Fly (715 Red River) for Coffee! No Pants? which has a stellar lineup: Chairlift, Titus Andronicus, Loney Dear, Princeton, Harlem Shakes, Wheat, Eli Paperboy Reed & The True Loves, and Lights On. We'll be DJing in-between sets along with Mr. F, and it's hosted by Eugene Mirman. FREE with RSVP. Then in the evening we'll be over at The Lodge (411 E 6th St) for It's Chicago with some of our hometown friends: Vyle, Kid Color, and Bald Eagle. That one is FREE and there's NO RSVP, holy shit.

TONIGHT IN CHICAGO: It's yet another installment of our Information Superflyway residency at Sonotheque. This time the Hood will be joined by The Prairie Cartel DJs and Chips N Salsa, with visuals provided by Cliche.

THE HOOD vs CANADA: On Friday we'll be doing a Hood set on the late night for CMW at Wrongbar in Toronto, where the aforementioned Candy Coated Killahz will also be playing. (Here's the Facebook invite.) Then on Saturday we'll be up north at Blue Mountain during the Telus Triple Challenge with the Chi City homies Hollywood Holt and Million $ Mano.
