IT'S THE REMIX

Hi everyone. We've been shuffling some things around on the site. You might notice some of the older posts have dead image links, which we're currently working on. We also disabled the comment feature, as the majority of comments were spam in foreign languages (apologies to those of you looking for great deals on Air Jordans and Rolex replicas).

HOOD MOBILE: The fine people at tumblr. worked with us to set up The Hood Internet on tumblr. If you're a tumblr user, start following us! The tumblr version of the site also works really well on most mobile devices.

Back to the content: some remixes we've worked on recently, starting with our subtle take on Skybox's "In A Dream."

RAMONA FALLS: We remixed the music for Ramona Falls' "Russia" and augmented it with Wayne's verse from Trae's "Screwed Up." Download that one over at RCRD LBL.

This last one is fairly unique: Chicago jazz outfit Matt Ulery's Loom hit us up to remix the song from their new 10" single "The Queen" (available on Whistler Records). You can get it as a free download when you purchase the record, or you can preview the track right here.
